eROSITA ECF
- Assuming a spectral model, the ECF is calculated as the ratio of the count rate of Xspec fake spectra to the model flux (erg/cm^2/s).
- The RMF and ARF files of an eFEDS source generated from the c946 data are used. There is no updates by now.
RMF: 020_RMF_00001.fits
ARF: ARF_nocorr.fits
- The "srctool" extracted ARF is corrected for vignetting and PSF-loss at a particular position for a given extraction region. We un-correct the ARF by dividing the "SPECRESP" by the correction "CORRCOMB".
- Two ECFs are calculated in each case
- "ECF_obs" column: convert count rate to observed flux
- "ECF_cor" column: convert count rate to Galactic-absorption-corrected flux
