Notes on the teleocn of March 6th:

Participants: AG, TD, KD, MF, HB, CG, IK, GL, MR

** Preprocesser:

IK sent an email with questions on the eRO Operations Manual to DC. DC pointed us to the radiocomplex interface document describing the radicomplex frame headers, but other questions remain (DC email of March 8th provided more clarifications).

Final information on the time coding is still missing (Walter Kink is still working on this).

Availability of Bamberg team during ground contacts? During initial mission phase: yes (IK).

tmsplit was updated (multiscale parameters implemeted in code and XML). There seemed to be a preference to keep both the original and the converted values in the HK FITS files (is this correct?). IK will communicate the multiscale parameters from the end-to-end test (mostly temperatures) to MF.

FITS conversion of startracker data: frame ID of eROSITA telemetry headers is not yet known. IK will ask DC. Work on startracker FITS conversion could start while details on the telemetry headers are still missing.

** TEL chain:

Current simulation event files for pipeline testing contain TIME column. Real data will have OTS clock and subsecond counter. MF provided a workaround to make task evprep work with the current test data. When the time coding issue is resolved, ideally the SIXTI simulations should be run through IK's FITS to telemetry converter and then through the preprocessor to create simulated data with OTS/subsecond information.

Final list of HK parameters is not yet available. How is the filter wheel position coded in the telemetry data? MF will ask DC.

Pattern and energy tasks: complete eSASS interface is still missing. Tasks will be updated when it fits in KD's ongoing eRO calibration work.

IK hopes to be able to work on mkfilter again in the next months.

** DET chain:

Update on apetool: code for removing sources from source map is mostly done, now working on PSF size maps.

Concerns about inconsistent PSF model in simulations and detection. IK confirmed after the telecon that SIXTE indeed uses the PANTER PSF.

ermldet: timescale for implementing new scheme of weighting the contributions of cameras with different spectral response? The EXP and DET chains need to be restructured once this is available. Also affects esensmap.

ersensmap: science WGs should be asked what functionality they want (e.g. in the next eSASS science requirements meeting).

** SOU chain:

Interface for automatic quality checking task (dpvalp)? Which input files and command line parameters? Will be discussed by TB and MF; HB will set up pipeline accordingly.
