Objects Types (planned):
- AGN
- Galaxy Cluster
- Stars
- Cataclysmic Variables
AGN:
- used the 4 AGN Catalogs by N. Clerc simulations as a "standard" catalog to get sources parameters
- applied a 5e-15 erg/s flux threshold to the the catalog
- rescaled the number of sources to match the 4700 skyfields for eROSITA and rolled new positions on a sphere
- reduced the nbins in the spectra from 1000 to 100 to improve performance of the simulation
- "remove" galactic NH from input catalog spectra
- determined NH for each source and applied it to the spectra
- more than 20.000.000 AGN
CV:
- Catalog of sources (CVS, IPS, POLARS) provided by Axel Schwope
- applied a flux threshold 1.0e-15 erg/s
- used unabsorbed flux / model / NH to create spectra useable by SIXTE
- few 100.000 sources
Galaxy Cluster:
- SIMPUT catalog provided by Jeremy Sanders, Sebastian Grandis, John Mohr
- more than 3.000.000 Galaxy Clusters with images
- currently up to 1.0e-20 erg/s
- next simulation will be reduced to match thresholds of other input catalogs
Stars:
- in contact Jan Robrade / Juergen Schmitt - plan to integrate catalog based on parts of the GAIA catalog
