* In the current configuration PACS1 is used for development of the CUS definitions and procedures.

  • "sftcode" is the CUS development database
  • "sftcode" is accessed from within MPE and remote via cusgui
  • To use the Database you need to :
    • make sure you installed the most recent version of PCSS (at least the version of the most recent schema)

    • contact Ekkehard wieprecht <ewieprec@mpe.mpg.de>/+49-89-30000-3845 or Erich Wiezorrek <erw@mpe.mpg.de>/+49-89-30000-3326

      • give the ip address to open the firewall for your computer
    • ask your local computer expert to open the firewall for PACS1(130.183.130.104) on the ports 5019 and 44500 till 44530
    • edit the property file : .pcss/props
  • start cusgui 
    •      >cusgui
