* In the current configuration PACS1 is used for development of the CUS definitions and procedures.
- "sftcode" is the CUS development database
- "sftcode" is accessed from within MPE and remote via cusgui
- To use the Database you need to :
- make sure you installed the most recent version of PCSS (at least the version of the most recent schema)

- give the ip address to open the firewall for your computer
- ask your local computer expert to open the firewall for PACS1(130.183.130.104) on the ports 5019 and 44500 till 44530
- edit the property file : .pcss/props
- var.database.server = @pacs1.mpe-garching.mpg.de
var.database.devel = sftcode@pacs1.mpe-garching.mpg.de
- start cusgui
