Dynamic range per capacitance (1.2.3)

• Pre-test setup:
  • Note, that the related PTD contains a combined measurement of 1.2.3, 1.2.8 and 1.2.18 blocks, and cannot be applied in its original form.
  • Set the OGSE BB temperatures (SET_UP_OGSE_BB_TEMP_OBS, see the temperatures below)
  • Move filter wheel to "POS A" (SPEC_fltw_move)

• CUS scripts: SPEC_dyn_range_obs, SPEC_DiagHK_DynRange_block_stop, SPEC_DiagHK_DynRange_block_start

• Each measurement block (OGSE BB temperature setup) runs through all combinations of integration capacitor (0.1pF, 0.3pF, 1pF, 3pF) and reset interval values (1/8s, 1/4s, 1/2s, 2s), and is performed for two grating positions (GR-1 = 760000 and GR-2 = 490000).

  • Move filter wheel to "POS B" (SPEC_fltw_move)
  • Move chopper to CFOV
• CUS script: SPEC_time_constant_fmilt1218_obs
• Each measurement block (OGSE BB temperature setup) performs the following measurement: the detector is staring at the OGSE BB1 source, and the filter wheel is rotated back and forth.
