Monthly eSASS Q&A / weekly eSASS developers Zoom meeting
Start of meeting: 2020-04-07 13:30 (1:30pm) - Zoom ID: https://zoom.us/j/7909307159
As in previous months, the weekly eSASS developers meeting on the first Tuesday of the month is announced to the full eROcat list. These "eSASS Q&A" meetings are intended to facilitate interaction between eSASS users and developers. Question, bug reports, and suggestions for improvements are welcome.
The meeting will consist of three parts with the main focus today on part 1):
1) Jeremy Sanders will be giving a ca. 30 min demonstration of the eROSE system, https://erose.mpe.mpg.de/eROSE/ .
eROSE (eROsita Sky Explorer) is a website for browsing the eROSITA sky, querying source catalogues, importing user catalogues and doing simple catalogue matching. Initially developed by Tom Dwelly, the website is now open for testing. Please note that we do not intend to expand the feature set of eROSE as SciServer will shortly be coming online.
2) In the eSASS Q&A part of the meeting the eSASS developers are available to answer general questions and discuss eSASS issues brought up by the users.
3) In the last part of the meeting the eSASS team will continue is internal discussions of ongoing technical issues. While everyone is welcome to stay during this part of the meeting, there will be a short break to allow those who are not interested to disconnect.
