The IEGSE LAN use the subnet 192.168.202 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0

Host names

Connecting laptops to the IEGSE LAN

There are two options:

public internet

A proper DHCP client running on the laptop will connect it.

IEGSE LAN

There is no DHCP server running on the IEGSE LAN.

The names and addresses in the range from

192.168.202.120 to 192.168.202.128

are reserved for laptops connected to the IEGSE LAN. The subnet mask is

255.255.255.0

NTP server

Following NTP server is known to the IEGSE LAN:

192.168.202.51

Currently (March 21, 07) all five IEGSE hosts are time synchronized using this NTP server.

PIPE gateway connection

The CCS will try to connect to a TCP service port 9875 on host hos4-d to look for the PIPE gateway.
