In the IEGSE room there is a HP LaserJet 4050 printer.

This printer is known on all IEGSE machines with the name "printer".

It is physically connected to the IEGSE LAN but served by a single CUPS server running on host hos4-d. All other IEGSE machines are running CUPS client only.

Sometimes, after long idle times for the printer, the print job is not sent to the printer for a long time. It looks like, switching the printer off and on again helps.
